William J. Cerynik

Founder and Principal

William has spent three decades inside financial services and technology — as an operator, founder, advisor, and strategic partner. He has run teams, built systems, financed and sold businesses, and led complex integrations. He has also sat in the consulting seat, translating founder intent into something teams could actually run. He is brought in when the stakes are high and the story is not fully written.

Most recently, William helped design internal capabilities and advisor communication frameworks inside a multi-channel wealth platform supporting a $30B AUM ecosystem. His focus was simple: make sure enterprise initiatives translated into clear ownership and real-world adoption across partner firms.

Earlier in his career, he co-founded a technology consulting firm and held consequential roles in corporate banking and a fast-scaling RIA. In each case, he did not just manage projects. He built the playbooks and integration frameworks that made growth repeatable.

He has also led multi-year governance transitions in the nonprofit sector, rewriting bylaws and committee structures so leadership teams operated with clarity instead of assumption.

At ApexEdge, he produces playbooks for leadership teams who need to get it right and put it in writing.

William resides in Utah with his wife and children.
